Julie Ferguson is an art enabler, technician, administrator, dancer, and physical theatre performer who hails from Westbank, BC and now calls Edmonton home. They completed their BFA in Stage Management at the University of Alberta, and have stage/production/event managed for companies around town including Punctuate! Theatre, Catch the Keys Productions, The Late Nite Cabaret, The Chinook Series, The Capitol Theatre, St. Albert Children’s Festival, CRIPSiE, and Dancefest at Nextfest. Julie also performs as a dancer, clown, and physical theatre performer with companies such as Mile Zero Dance, Jen Mesch Dance Conspiracy, Tiny Bear Jaws, and Toy Guns Dance Theatre. You may have seen Julie’s weird performance art at events around town including the Found Festival, Nextfest Nite Clubs, Dirt Buffet Cabaret, Odd Wednesday, E-Town Clown Cabaret, Edmonton Poetry Brothel, ShameLESS Cabaret, and Feats Festival. Julie joined RFT’s technician roster in 2015, and is thrilled to be up in the booth improvising, sweating, and laughing along with the cast.
