Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience a TheatreSports match the way that it first started!
Rapid Fire Theatre’s origins begin in 1981, when Keith Johnstone taught his new improv show TheatreSports to a group of Edmonton artists. Today TheatreSports is performed by companies all over the world and Rapid Fire remains one of the longest-running producers of the show on the planet. TheatreSports, as well as other Keith Johnstone formats are licensed by the International TheatreSports Institute. During the Prairie Bowl Tournament, Rapid Fire is also hosting an international symposium by the iTi.
Starring a cast of symposium guests and festival artists, this “classic” TheatreSports match rewinds the clock to 1977 to show you how it all began!
