Erin Morrison grew up enjoying the Edmonton theatre scene with her family. She graduated from Concordia University of Edmonton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta.
Erin is a Civil Litigation lawyer at Ogilvie LLP and spends her days representing clients and virtually logging into the courtroom. Erin’s profession parallels improv in many ways as you have to be able to think on your toes, prepare for any curveball sent your way, and it helps to have a bit of a silver-tongue. Erin is bitterly disappointed to report that legal cases are rarely won by a masterstroke of oratory semantics but rather by hard work and preparation behind the scenes, just like in theatre.
In her spare time Erin enjoys gardening, cooking, playing an assortment of board games and competing in both badminton and softball.
