Ember performed with Rapid Fire Theatre from 2005-2009.
Upon leaving Rapid Fire Theatre, Ember moved to Vancouver where from 2010-2015 she wrote and performed sketch comedy with Pump Trolley Comedy. For years she regularly performed improv, stand up and sketch comedy around Vancouver and national improv festivals, including RFT’s Improvaganza with her group, Benjamins. Currently, she performs weekly with Little Mountain Improv. She is a passionate educator and teaches high school.
My favourite memory is playing the game “Weekend at Bernies”. It got horned down about a minute into the scene when no one acknowledged there was a corpse in any way at all. It was never played again and remains the most underrated short form game in history of improv.
