Nathaniel Tesfaye is a multidisciplinary artist based in Edmonton, Alberta! Writing mythological plays, directing new work and acting on the screen and stage. Nathaniel holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Alberta and is currently pursuing an MA in Drama.
Tesfaye has written plays including Dragon at Midnight (2021), Retirement of the Gods (2025), and The Exiles (2026). He has directed new works including I Inherited Harvest (2026), and has produced a short film Like Mother Used to Make (2026) in association with the Mosquers Film Festival. His acting work features commercials with The Brick, Edo, Co-op, and a handful of gambling advertisement you may seen during a Oilers game. He has also worked as a theatre educator with Foote Theatre School where he has taught since 2022.
Nathaniel started his improv journey in high school and is excited to join Rapid Fire Theatre. In the wise words of Tom Collins, he’s ready to “kick em in the heart nuts”!
