While growing up in Leduc, Stephen was haunted by his mom’s lingering obsession with SCTV and Carol Burnett.

This naturally resulted in him trying out improv for the first time during high school. After escaping Leduc and moving up to Edmonton to attend the U of A, he joined the UIG. Since 2014, Stephen has performed in many UIG shows, attended university improv festivals from Montreal to Victoria, and led the group as a co-President and Treasurer. Stephen completed a BA in Urban and Regional Planning and now works as a Planner in the Edmonton Region. Outside of planning and improvising, Stephen can be found devouring books and moving too quickly on foot or by pedal. Stephen likes to remind everyone that life’s candy and the sun’s a ball of butter.
