Susanne served as both a volunteer & technician with Rapid Fire Theatre from 2000-2009.
“Watching our amazing improvisers from the booth is what gave me the confidence to go down a creative career path. While tech-ing in my 20’s, I decided to go back to school and took the Radio and TV program at NAIT, something that I wanted to do since I was a kid. I then started working first as a video editor and then as a producer.
After leaving RFT, I worked for awhile at Bioware and then moved to Montreal to continue my work in video games, where the past few years I have specialized in narrative and performance.”
As an audience member, my fav, memory will always be yelling out “French New Wave” as a film genre just to annoy everyone. But as a member of RFT, one of my fondest memories was attending the Keith Johnstone workshop in the mountains with Julian Faid (Congrats Julian!). As a tech, it was really cool to get the experience to learn with the best and was amazing that RFT sent me.
