Tessa Yakimchuk

Rookie Ensemble Member

Tessa has been improvising for over a decade, since being dragged to a jam at her junior high school, and it’s been (mostly) uphill from there. She’s done NAIL, Nosebowl, CIG, as well as many years at the University of Alberta’s Notorious UIG, even serving proudly as their President for two years.

Tessa is currently a member of several local improv groups, including Scatterbrain Improv and Mean Streets Improv, performing with them at the Edmonton Fringe, and throughout the year at the Grindstone. She’s also done some “real” acting with Staged Theatre Productions (Ally Anne, Strathcona Retold), and loves any stage time she can get. Tessa is *almooost* done with her Conservation Biology degree at the U of A, and would love to chat dirt, plants, moss, or critters with anyone willing to listen.
