During Rapid Fire Theatre’s annual IMPROVAGANZA festival, we present rare opportunities for you to learn improv skills from our very special festival guests!
Saturday June 27: 3pm-5pm
This workshop is offered with ASL interpretation for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing patrons. When registering for your spot, please indicate whether or not you require ASL interpretation.
What does Michelle Hart love more than a game? Absolutely nothing.
Join Michelle for a workshop on game based improv. We’ll explore patterns, heightening, and all the weird little things that make a scene fun to play and fun to watch. Through exercises and scene work, we’ll practice finding the game, heightening it, and figuring out what comes next when it feels like you can’t escalate it any further.
Michelle appears at Improvaganza 2026 as part of CAMP.
Skill level: Some improv experience required
Sunday June 28, 2pm-4:30pm
Join Ken Hall and Isaac Kessler on an introduction to the playful freedom of ClownProv, which blends elements of Clown work (physical comedy, Le Jeu, finding “the game,” and joyful play) with improv.
Participants will learn to maximize joy during performance; repeat and build off their successes and access their “inner clown” within the context of improv scene work.
Ken & Isaac appear at Improvaganza 2026 as part of 2-MAN NO-SHOW.
Skill level: Some improv experience required
Unfortunately, due to scheduling constraints, ASL interpretation is not available for this class.
