Gordie Lucius has truly been around the block. From working as a carpenter, editing production videos for the U of A to stepping in front of the camera, and hosting a nature show. You name it he has probably done it. Which makes him the perfect mix of er’thang with a dash of sweet and sassy. He is the host/co-creator of the aforementioned nature show, Frick, I Love Nature that won an Alberta Film and Television award and is currently in production with CBC Gem on their second season. In 2019 a pilot he co-wrote with fellow improvisers/brother Joey Lucius and Joleen Ballendine was selected by the National Screen Institute to be part of the 2020 Totally Television Program, which made it to the final round of the program! Gordie was also 1 of 90 applicants to make it into the 2020 Corus Writers apprenticeship program, where he will be sent to apprentice in a writer’s room for a Canadian television series. Gordo is totes excited to bring his varied tool bag from the world of film/television production to his role. He is a single stuff Oreo type of guy. Double is just too much.
