You create the world! This workshop will focus on improvised scene work and environment. In your scenes, you will explore your environment in more depth using narration, object work, soundscapes, and more. By the end of this class, you should be able to confidently perform the scariest scene of all; the open scene! Participants can expect to do more scene work than in Level 1.You will have the opportunity to perform in the Workshop Showcase for friends and family. Performance is encouraged, but not mandatory.

Teacher: Quinn Contini

Teaching and performing improv has brought Quinn from coast to coast in Canada and the United States, around Europe twice, and as far as Dubai! He is a member of Marv n’ Berry – Sketch Comedy, Offbook – The Improvised Musical, and a co-founder of Tightrope Theatre in Vancouver. He has taught improv to business executives, people with Parkinson’s, groups of wild home schoolers, and he hopes to teach you too!!

Arriving for class:

• The doors will open 15-minutes before the workshop start time unless otherwise communicated

• Masks are optional and up to each individual.
