Rapid Fire Summer Improv Camps are here!

By popular demand, we’ve assembled 3 amazing camps for kids that are going to leave you wanting more. First up, we’ve got camps for the youngins! Ages 6-8, your kiddos will play improv games that work on body control, focus, and working as a team. Next up, we’ve got camps for the middle-aged youngins! Ages 9-11, your kiddos will play improv games that work on the basics of improv; saying YES, trusting IMPULSE, and embracing FAILURE. Finally, we’ve got camps for the elderly youngins! Ages 12-17, your teens will work on improv games and exercises that will unlock their spontaneous, creative potential.

Each camp culminates with a Saturday afternoon showcase for friends and family to come and cheer on all these first-class campers!

Kids (Ages 6-8)

It’s play time! Rapid Fire Theatre’s summer camps for kids ages 6-8 are specifically designed for younger improvisers. Through play, we’ll practice skills like body control, focus, and collaboration. Campers can expect to play a boat-load of games that will get us up on our feet and using our whole bodies. At the end of camp, we’ll have an optional showcase for your kiddo to show off all their new tricks!

Kids (Ages 9-11)

Get ready to bring your imagination to life! Rapid Fire Theatre’s summer camps for kids ages 9-11 are specifically designed for younger improvisers. Campers can expect to play games that will shape the ideas they have in their brains and put them on the stage. We’ll start to practice skills like saying “yes and”, trusting our impulse, and turning failure into gold! At the end of camp, we’ll have an optional showcase for your kiddo to show off all their new tricks! No prior improv experience required.

Teens (12-17)

Bring a hat ‘cause this camp is going to blow your mind! Rapid Fire Theatre’s Teen Improv Camp is going to be 5 days straight of laughs and love (Rapid Fire Theatre cannot guarantee you will find love at our camps). Campers will learn and develop the fundamentals of improv: acceptance; following impulse; and happy failure. And when it’s all said and done, we’ll put on a show! No prior improv experience required. Aforementioned hat, optional.

No prior improv experience required. Deadline for registration is Sunday, July 14 11:59PM. Registrants will receive a welcome package after the registration deadline, outlining all you need to know about the camps. No meals or snacks will be provided.

Extended Supervision:

Extended supervision is offered one hour prior to camp start (8-9am for the morning classes and 12-1pm for the afternoon classes) and one hour after camp (12-1pm for the morning classes and 4-5pm for the afternoon classes) at the cost of $50 for one week of pre-camp supervision and $50 for one week of post-camp supervision. This option will be available when purchasing your camp registration.
