An exploration of long format improvisational narrative structures that are both linear and non-linear, such as directed long forms, Tap Outs, and the Hero’s Journey. You will discuss advanced storytelling concepts, as well as continue to develop editing techniques.

You will have the opportunity to perform in the Workshop Showcase for friends and family. Performance is encouraged, but not mandatory.

Chris Borger will teach you how to be/look funny. He has worked as an educator for Rapid Fire Theatre, Edmonton Public Schools, and the University of Alberta, and hasn’t been fired even once! Plus, he’s produced comedy content for the CBC and Oilersnation (Marv n Berry), and has recently performed at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, Calgary Folk Fest, and San Fran Sketchfest, and is also the new emcee of the Edmonton Riverhawks..
