  • Ron Pederson is a Métis, award-winning actor, improviser, playwright, producer, and director who has worked across Canada with leading companies including the Stratford Festival, Soulpepper, Tarragon, Canadian Stage, Coal Mine Theatre, Royal MTC, Arts Club, the Citadel, Theatre Calgary, and many others. An alumnus of The Second City, Ron served for five years as Co-Artistic Director of Toronto’s National Theatre of the World (with Matt Baram and Naomi Sniekus), and has performed improvisation internationally in Oslo, Berlin, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and New York. On screen, he is known for three seasons on FOX’s MADtv, with additional credits including The Late Late ShowMurdoch MysteriesInSecurityDegrassiNew EdenPrivate Eyes, and a recurring role on The Next Step. His accolades include a Dora Award, two Sterling Awards, the RBC Arts Professional Award, and a Canadian Comedy Award win for Best Improviser.
