Looking for a last-minute daytime activity for your kids while Alberta’s teachers are on strike? Rapid Fire’s got just the thing! We’ve assembled 2 amazing camps for kids, based on our highly popular spring break and summer improv camps! These fun programs were developed by the trained educators and skilled improvisers from Rapid Fire Theatre. Through creative play, your kids will practice a whole bunch of valuable life skills including taking risks, collaboration, listening, and positive failure.
Ages 6-9It’s play time! Through play, we’ll practice skills like body control, focus, and collaboration. Campers can expect to play a boat-load of games that will get us up on our feet and using our whole bodies.
Ages 9-12Campers can expect to play games that will shape the ideas they have in their brains and put them on the stage. We’ll start to practice skills like saying “yes and”, trusting our impulse, and turning failure into gold! No prior improv experience required.
Registrants will receive a welcome package after the registration deadline, outlining all you need to know about the camps. No meals or snacks will be provided.

REFUND POLICY
In the event that schools are back in session, RFT will cancel the remaining camp dates and issue refunds for those unused dates.
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, October 6-10, 9am-3:30pm. Drop-off starts at 8:30am and pickup is from 3:30-4pm.

At Rapid Fire Theatre, we know how much hard work teachers put in year-round, both in schools and through programs like our Northern Albertan Improv League (currently on pause) and the Wildfire Teen Improv Festival. We see the effort you put in and how much your dedication contributes to your students’ success.
Our improv programming is a fun creative space for kids, but in no way can it be a replacement for the wholistic educational experience that is provided in our public schools. Rapid Fire Theatre supports Alberta’s teachers and a resolution to the current strike that supports the growth of all Alberta’s youth.
