Marv n’ Berry at the Edmonton Fringe!

VENUE #29: El Cortez (8230 Gateway Blvd.)

Marv n’ Berry is a new-ish sketch posse from Edmonton Alberta. The members of the troupe have improvised together for years with Rapid Fire Theatre, Edmonton’s premiere improvisational theatre company. They formed at the annual Bonfire Improv Festival (a celebration of experimental improv formats), and after creating an hour long sketch showcase in a week, have emerged fully formed as a quintet of dedicated sketch performers.

Since then, they have performed a handful of successful shows in and around Edmonton, and are now confidently branching out to perform around the rest of Canada. As this particular combination of performers, they are new to the scene…. but as individuals everyone has loads of experience with sketch comedy and improv.
